JOB 225 2-channel Power Amplifier ... update ...

Hi Keith,

Glad you are enjoying your Job so far. The link above for the photo does not work for me, not sure why.

Norman as always....you are truly awesome and one of the good guys period! Can't wait to hear more.

Bandor your link is not working for me either.

BTW, my Job will be here on Tuesday, however I am having my right knee scoped again, yes again next Wednesday so I won't be able to play with it until maybe the weekend, Maybe. +_)(*&^%$#@!~

Hi all, new here. I actually found the site searching for info on the Job amp, a friend called today and is shipping his out Monday for measurement and my subjective opinion as well. I'm really looking forward to hearing this, folks sure see happy with it thus far.

Please give us your opinion when you hear it. I LOVE mine.

Well, I have solved my noise problems, and decided I have to keep this amp. It did not like my line conditioner. It is the first piece of gear I have owned that did not do well in it, but it is just much quieter plugged into the wall. Live and learn! Like others have reported, it does not get nearly as hot now either as it is breaking in.
It now gets along very well with the Ref5se.

Dave,

I'm very happy and relieved. Congratulations. Any update on what you are hearing, sound-wise?

I thought at first that there was something abnormal; glad that you finally found the solution. :)

Hi Mike!

Another A-Circle stalwart arrives.

Good decision, though someone missed out on a great deal. They REALLY have problems keeping ANY stock, they are TOTALLY behind the demand curve. I could not even get a demo with one, just a chance to see and lift up one destined to go out the next morning.

It could be the Sweetcord that didnt like the conditioner. Did you try it with a generic power cable into the conditioner?

I did not try the generic cord into the conditioner.

When I contacted the Job folks about the noise they did mention that they have a preamp coming out soon, so I am anxious to hear more about that... Hopefully it will be an overachieving bargain like the 225!

Congrats Dave, I guess this means no chance of me buying your Sweet cord :(, but I'm glad your keeping the Job.

Mike.........welcome, My Job is coming Tuesday I would also love to hear your opinion of the Job.
