I agree. I think we need more genres of music. Maybe we could mix country music with rap and we could call it CRAP. :P

Interesting. I hated country, but my wife is from Austin and she got me into some early country. As for rap, I grew up in the 80s and rap / hip hop is what I was raised on. Now classic rock on the other hand....I've got no use for it. Same goes for any of the female vocalists I see on forums. If it weren't for audio forums, I would never run across any of those artists and I probably wouldn't have missed it.

LOL. Just to help the poster who dislikes threads that go off topic.

For whatever reason, I like Shelby Lynne type country, classic rock, it's child called Rap, female jazz vocalists, and classical string quartets. These forums have given me leads, but how my tastes have changed, I have no idea. In my 20s, hard, hard Rock was the only acceptable form of music, and EVERYTHING else sucked. Now only blue grass and polka sucks. :)

Yeah, that's the one that keeps two sets of books. No matter how many times I asked, I still did not get invoices for everything I bought. More than an oversight, no matter the price, that represents a dodgy dealing and potential problems if a warranty claim should arise.

Speak some truths over there and you will get moderated. Speak some more truths on a manufacturer sponsored thread and you will get banned. Leave and you will get banned. Resign and you will get banned. Critique the legendary Simpsons and you will get banned.

"I'm in!" or "Satisfaction guaranteed" reads like a ramp. Don't buy into the ramp.

It becomes easier to moderate or ban good paying customers when the forum heat is turned up than to deal with critique, opinion or grievance. What comes first, the forum, the customer, the quick sale, the ego or the tax deduction?

Yes, agree I dislike those sorts of surreptitious machinations. Beyond the bling, there is a simple caravan salesman and company using the Internet to cross dealer jurisdictions.

Ha. Not exactly. Not much "service" provided anyway. Like the poster above I don't recall receiving an invoice. I do recall placing a small order and receiving Wireworld cables in zip lock bags. No factory packaging apparently?

Sounds like you might have bought some Chinese cables. That's your Karma for saying you have no use for Classic Rock. ;)
 
Jeez. Everybody is a critic. What do you want for $20 dollars a year? Receipts?

If that was directed to my post, I was referring to the purchase of audio gear, not the forum subscriber fee I hilariously paid 1 week before I was banned.

Back to the topic at hand:How about manufacturers who you would think would have both arms broken in 3 places (or at least a minor dislocation) from incessantly patting themselves on the back in post after post? OK, we get it. Your customer satisfaction if off the charts. Do you have something new or interesting you can share with us about your products? Please?
 
Didn't see it mentioned yet. The all-amps-sound-the-same camp.

And the posters who flex muscles on the PM as if they would literally crawl out of the computer screen (or my tiny iPhone screen) to teach a lesson or two in ass-kicking, then go back on the forum pretending to be a fun-loving audiophile and well-grounded person that he or she is remotely not.

He's a WireWorld dealer known to sell at half price at times, probably to meet quota. He pushes their product lots and also uses it exclusively in each of his showcase systems. What model/type of cable did you buy? I would be very surprised if it wasn't the genuine article. He could be criticised for many things, like dodgy invoicing or lack thereof, but I doubt he would stoop so low and mix in and sell counterfeit goods. You could always contact WireWorld direct and ask for serial number verification. I'm sure they would want to help make things right for you if you have been duped.

You may have bought his used earlier generation product. I recall he upgraded a lot of Gold Eclipse G6 to Platinum G7 in one of his systems.

I bought some Platinum G7 from him and am happy with it.

If it is true, they would shut him down and take his Ferraris. :o

I had no idea being a audio cable sales person could enable someone to buy Ferraris. That seems wrong on a lot of levels. In any event, I'm not questioning whether the product is genuine, just reporting how it came.

New WireWorld cable should come with WireWorld packaging and a Certificate of Authenticity, no matter which model.
 
How about ads that pop up on the right side of your screen that alternate between hot Asian women and toenail fungus??

Man, for a minute there I thought you had searched my reviews and came up with things to crack on me with. I'm pretty sure I have never used any of those words or phrases.:whew:
