i heard one of those out west last year, i dont remember it looking quite like that. maybe it was because i wasnt allowed anywhere near it.lmao!!! a pic of that popped up when i was looking for the rockport technologies table. That's Mikey Fremer's analog reference turntable; the Continuum Audio Labs Caliburn TT with the Continuum Audio Labs Cobra tonearm.
* 160 pounds - $160,000 (TT + tonearm + stand). ...Cartridge, phono preamp, phono interconnects, RCM, etc., etc., etc. aren't included.
- The ultrarigid Castellon stand, made of chromed, aircraft-grade aluminum, costs $25K on its own (pheww).
- The Cobra tonearm is $18K.
"Better than sex!" exclaimed Mikey's wife.
mark thank god you got rid of that awful piece of equipment in your avatar and got back to what makes all your posts so very interesting.lmao!!!I love the Spiral Groove TT's !!
Bob, what kind of response did you get from Clearaudio? And, just curious, which turntable do you use in your system?
Then talk to Rob Paul; he can rebuild one to your taste.
And Jack too can direct you towards more affordable pastures.
