Siltech Royal Signature Series

I would say that the Valhalla is a superior cable to the Classic Series phono. I think you would find the Empress Crown and Double Crown to outperform Nordost. Possibly even the Avondale II.

I have the Avondale II. It's truly world-class. I highly doubt the Valhalla is better...but I'm open to comparing if anyone wants to send me one. :)

I think they would need to send you the Odin to make it a fair play!

i thought i might chime in here with a funny anecdote.... a few months before xmas i got a new triple crown interconnect and placed into my system ( vitus and marten). It sounded great straight away .... 2 days ago i picked up a whole loom of cables for my living room TV system. ICs were Siltech Classic Anniversary 330, SC was explorer 90L and PC were Crystal reference with Furutech Gold plugs ....

as i installed these cables into a Sonus Faber based system i was immediately struck by and edgy overly bright top end, forward midrange and super strong bottom end .... i was a bit shaken .....

its been 4 days nows and its sounds much much better and I'm happy with the results. But i thought it was funny that the Triple Crown in my set up sounded great straight out of the box - pouch

Normally when I hear a cable just introduced into my system & the immediate improvement in sound I usually utter holy shit, because I know it's going to get better.

Pweg...I would bet that the Triple Crown undergoes an extensive burn-in process.

Sounds like you have an awesome system there. The ducks nuts? We would love to see pics.

The break in period is probably a few hundred hours of play time. Once broke in, will sound totally different. Congrats on your cables.

I have an order in for 3 sets of Princess XLRs and 1 Golden Ridge II AES/EBU.

Thought very hard about spending a lot more for the Queen but honestly I don't think any McIntosh component has the capability to resolve substantially beyond the level that Queen is capable of delivering. I would concur that the law of diminishing returns seriously kicks in at Siltech Queen and higher.

I would like to be proven incorrect but I feel Princess is going to offer best performance value in the entire Siltech lineup. Very confident that they will comfortably surpass Wireworld Platinums currently in use.

@Rod#S. My dealer tells me that Siltech are no longer offering choice of termination for IC just power. I did enquire about Furutech CF601/2 Rhodium terminations but dealer said no. Apart from Triple Crown, it is Neutrik nickel.

Not sure if I am getting the straight answer but it could be dealer/region specific.

Also the Chinese Siltech counterfeits out there tend to use that Furutech termination whether it is a real or a fake Furutech plug.

Royal Signature Prince speaker cables. I am so shit scared to play vinyl at the mo. I mean if it sounds this good without listening to my table, I'm really scared I'm going to go on Amazon & buy like a shitload of vinyl......:victory::victory::boing::boing::what::what::olga:

Congrats! You will go on Amazon and buy a shitload of vinyl. You will go on Amazon and buy a shitload of vinyl. You will go on Amazon and buy a shitload of vinyl. :amazing:

Congrats Steve! Looking forward to hear what you think about the Princess XLR!

Congrats Kev!! What are the other Siltech cables you got?

Not sure what your dealer told you, but I've found, the Siltech's need 100-200 hours to break in and then holy mama, look out!

I have a Hagerman FlyKleaner Professional cable burner that will give a beautiful cable break-in before I commission the Siltech. Here is the unit loaded in action when I received the Wireworld Platinum G7s.

Very nice Steve, Congrats! I'm sure you'll love them :) As you are a Platinum owner it will be nice to read about your comparisons as many, particularly in other forums seem to consider the Platimuns as the be all, end all of cables.

hmm, this doesn't sound right. I actually placed an order for a 14 meter pair of 330i's on Tuesday and asked for the CF-601M(R)and CF-602F(R)to match my Golden Ridge II. I heard back from the dealer yesterday saying they were available but at a significant up charge so he wanted to check if I still wanted to go that route. I still decided to go with them. I was surprised at the additional charge given the price of the cables. I didn't have to pay extra for them on the Golden Ridge II and that was much less expensive so I'm thinking for some reason the price is just absorbed in the Signature pricing scheme. Who knows. I should have my cables in a couple weeks, that tends to be the typcial from order to delivery time.

Rod...Interesting, sounds like that are deterministic factors when it comes to customer requests.

I was also told 2 weeks for the 1.5m lengths which is a non standard dealer stock item. Perhaps I am buying an already packaged warehoused item coming from The Netherlands.
