I have to say that I don't feel TheOctopus is talking nonsense... He is obviously on the fence, he seem to be afraid and he is verbalizing it, which is good, and he obviously had done his fair share of research which seem balanced to me.

He basically is opening to us letting us know "Hey guys, I've done my research yet I am still afraid". We should acknowledge him and let him know it's okay to be afraid and there is no right answer for everyone. He seem smart enough to get that. His point of view is maybe not at the same place as us for now but he seem to be reading the same stuff at least. He doesn't seem to be closed at all.

I don't think telling him he is posting nonsense is helpful here... but that's just me!

He hasn't use any real nonsense like "Kill Gates", "they", "chip", "5G" and so on...

I would not call it arguing unless you have already joined the sad Cancel Culture where nobody can have an opinion unless it aligns with yours. Very sad if that is the case. And yes, at this point they are all opinions. You read, listen to and form your "Opinion" from your sources, and I do the same. We just are both not using the same sources.

And for the wise guy who claimed I get my research from Facebook, sorry wrong, nor do I get anything from CNN or any other MSM.

Just got notification from my county in Pa (Chester) that I will have my schedule for my first shot in the first half of April. I was kinda hoping for the one and done J&J but whatever …..

I do hope I am all wrong, but I am healthy and will take my chances fighting something with a 99.X recovery rate as opposed to blindly getting shot up with who knows what whenever They Say So. Hopefully in 2 years we can look back and have a laugh on my behalf and not what I fear may happen.

Sorry Shadowfax but the minute I read *Bill Gates microchip vaccine* I am gone...

It's not an opinion nor is it cancel culture. It's a bad sci-fi B Movie...

Don't get me wrong, I love a good Sharknado once in a while and It makes me laugh because...well... it's Sharknado!

But in 2021, when we have lost people we loved because of Covid, I have no interest or patience for utter nonsense like your "opinion"...

Those numbers are worldwide. You compared them to US COVID deaths. Please don't try to make a point by distorting the facts.

In 2019 542 people in the US died from TB. In 1 year 560k people in the US died from COVID. The 2 diseases are not even close when it comes to transmissibility.

Your comparison of TB vs COVID has no relevance and I don't understand why that isn't completely obvious.

People don't have an issue with differing opinions. The issue is the you state things as fact which are false, like your comparison of COVID to TB or stating the Gates is putting chips in the vaccine.

Science is science. Facts are facts. Opinions are opinions. Try not to mix them up.
 
Lets please not turn this thread into conspiracy theories and argumentative stuff that never equals a win for nobody. Maybe start another thread and state your opinions for that. .
 
It has been a week now since getting the second Pfizer shot, so one week to go before getting max vaccinated from it. That is an area I don't understand. Why does it take a couple of weeks before the vaccine becomes completely effective instead of as soon as getting the shot?

It takes time for your body to build anti-bodies in response to the vaccine. Things don’t stop happening in 2 weeks. The protection continues to build. In the studied for the J&J vaccine the protection was greater after 4 and 6 weeks.

Yes. You get a card. I have photographed both sides and keep it on my phone.

I hope by the fall you cannot get on a plane without proving you have been vaccinated.

TB is not anywhere are contagious at COVID. These 2 situation are unrelated. If you think they are the same then you are kidding yourself.
