Hey folks, new to the forum! My actual name is Ken, I work as a licensed automotive mechanic up here in western Canada, it pays the bills and allows for a decent little dual purpose system I like to call the "beer budget/champagne tastes" system, I know it's not on par with probably most here but it's a healthy start to what I hope is a long audio journey. My system is detailed in the signature, don't laugh please :)

I'll mainly sit back and read the threads that do interest me and once I get to know you guys, start posting a little more frequently.

Welcome! There's no reason to be ashamed of your system; as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters. :)
 
Ken...welcome you have a great and very well thought out system and may it give you many years of musical enjoyment. It's not about how much you paid for it but rather how much enjoyment it gives you. You have chosen very well reviewed pieces that punch well above their weight. Welcome to AS :hi:

Thanks guys, and Bluefox, I only registered to see your pics of your tour at Magico, turns out this isn't a bad place...as I sit here enjoying the music for once and not picking it apart....a no tweak night I shall say :)

And yes, this is a modest system, most pieces bought on sale for deep cuts in some areas and one piece was a gift surprise from someone I've never met in person but thought I should have it, still thank that man to this day. I found that one can piece together something good for a reasonable price if one waits, comparison shops and knows someone sometimes :)
