Yea, I'm just trying to get the Diablo 300 out of my head.
Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated: Gryphon Diablo 300 or Pass Int-250 will get you.

Funny the choices we agonise over. Excluding perhaps studying (a loooong time ago) and my day to day job, I have spent more time thinking about my sound system than I have about ANYTHING else! As my daughter would say: tragic.![]()
That actually makes it so handy when trying equipment!
And with Mike so close it it’s almost a necessity!
How far apart are your speakers?
73 inches tweeter to tweeter.
It's a small room, I would guess 10 x 11 (??), but boy, does his system sound terrific. I just love how the S3 mk2's work so well in small, medium and fairly large rooms. There is just simply no bass issues at all.
Mike came over and helped me locate the best listening spot in my room then we set up the speakers and carefully aligned everything. So much more accurate SQ now!
Of course he brought over some toys to try.....AR LS28 and VT80SE since I have not heard tubes with my system. Wow what a nice presentation, now I can see why the tube camp guys are such zealots about their gear! I am not sure at this point in which camp I may migrate to, but living in Florida and with a small room with huge sliding glass door facing east just might be the deciding fact.
Forgive my high end equipment stand........Costco $99.00. I do have some proper stands from Timbernation on order with December delivery.![]()

even though this is a magico thread, i have to say the new gear arc is putting out is visually stunning. i've always liked their old stuff, but their new units are really resonating with me aesthetically.
By the way Mike, I saw the video you recently posted of the magico M3 with arc ref 10 and gs150 - simply stunning. If the s3mk2 with the ls28 and vt80(?) plays close to that, i bet larry is in audio heaven!
