JOB 225 2-channel Power Amplifier ... update ...

MichaelHifi,

My Ref 75 was one of the most special pieces I have ever owned. Should have kept it. Can it mentioned in the same sentence? I would say it like this...they both are keepers.
 
It has been a thought when the new speakers get here, but will have to sneak even more boxes past the wife. Much harder to do now that she is retired too!

Thought about that too, but we will see. I think the one JOB will do fine with the new speakers on it's own. They are even more efficient than the current ones. Joe are those S5's in you avatar? If it was possible I would own a pair too!

They are S3's. I'm thinking hard about them.

You might be surprised to hear that the S3's are probably better in more ways than the S5's. Plus the S3 would be better for my room. :)

I would love to hear either one, but probably not going to happen. Get whatever makes you happy. But before you buy you might want to take a day trip to hear the Vandersteen Treo's and the Reynaud Offrande Supreme. Just my opinion, but if you like the SF sound you might like both of these. Both of them are the opposite of the TAD sound.

My Job 225's continue to break in, richer, more body, bass control, more than expected, way more than expected, the inner detail, micro dynamics, when does it stop improving, I am loving this experience, loving it,
