Hi Jim, I think we're open. I have a slight preference to do it Saturday night, but can go either way.

Any preference to days guys?
 
I can do dinner Fri or Sat. Have a nice Italian place in mind? (Seems like something everyone might like.)
 
Jim, BobM, Pete, I think most of us are open to which night we go out for dinner, so let us know which night works for you guys and we can probably accommodate.

If nobody cares - then I suggest going Friday night. That way we can spend time and talk about Saturday thoughts!

I will be able to get a reservation for Tappo as we get closer and have an exact count. They have great food, it's VERY close, everyone always loves it there. They can accommodate as many as we have.

If we do Tappo, as you are all dealing with traveling expenses and I get to just sit here and enjoy your company and visit, dinner and drinks are on yours truly.
 
What is the plan for the listening session? That might determine my personal preference for dinner.

- are we listening on Saturday afternoon, or both Friday and Sat afternoon?
- are we going to dinner Friday then coming back to listen?

Some of us have to work Friday and probably can't make it on a Fri afternoon, but if we do a listening session Sat afternoon then go to dinner afterwards we can make a whole day of it.

Me casa Su casa:heart: My studio will be available from early Friday morning until late Friday night and early Saturday morning until late Saturday night. I suggest that people come and go as they please. I would suggest if possible to try and do some listening in the evenings after 8 pm....something about the nightime good power and the dark, right? But we can listen during the day both Friday and Saturday as well.

For travelers from outside the city there are so many other audio stores here that you might want to go and check out. So use my place as your home base and then come and go you please. I am located in the center of the city so it's really a 10-20 minute walk or a $10 cab ride to anywhere that you want to visit. Once you are here I can give you the quickest and easiest routes to wherever you want to go on the island.

Any specific requests or questions just ask.

Also, regarding dinner some folks will want to do dinner Friday and some Saturday. We all have to eat both nights so we can just have dinner on both Friday and Saturday. Maybe one night a main dinner, but then the other night a more impromptu feasting. As we get closer we can make up lists for both nights. There are also so many restaurants right in my block or literally a hundred within a few block radius.

I am also located a half of block from "Little Eataly" http://www.eataly.com/nyc It's a fascinating place with many restaurants inside.

thats very nice of you bob!!! you are a good man!!! i wish i could make it and i tried to figure out anyway to at least get up there one day but i cant. but i will see you very soon.
