There is an interesting study from Italy. What if we fell victim to ... panic ? What if the virus is nowhere as deadly as we think it is ?
More than 99% of Italy’s coronavirus fatalities were people who suffered from previous medical conditions,
The Rome-based institute has examined medical records of about 18% of the country’s coronavirus fatalities, finding that just three victims, or 0.8% of the total, had no previous pathology.
The average age of those who’ve died from the virus in Italy is 79.5. As of March 17, 17 people under 50 had died from the disease. All of Italy’s victims under 40 have been males with serious existing medical conditions.

in italy people come with blue lips to the hospital asking for help and oxygen and get refused because there is no place, they go home and die and dont even get collected.

Yup...we discussed this a week or so ago. Looks like FDA will be allowing Chloroquine and Hyrdoxychloroquine to be used for COVID-19, it was announced today.
It's not up to the FDA, there are no restrictions on the use of these or any already approved medications. However, other than NOT using steroids, it's far from clear what if any treatments directed at the virus itself will work, or work best.
YouTube is hardly a peer-reviewed scientific publication :S
We are not allowed to prescribe these 2 drugs. It is being reserved for hospitalized patients. We have already had a few patients that wanted prescriptions for them.
Coronavirus: Wuhan recovery gives rest of world hope, says WHO
GENEVA (AFP) - The World Health Organisation said on Friday (March 20) that the original epicentre in China of the coronavirus outbreak at last reporting no new cases gave hope to the rest of the world battling the pandemic.
The city of Wuhan registered no new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours - for the first time since reporting its first case in December in an outbreak that has gone on to infect more than 250,000 people around the world and kill more than 11,000 people.
"Yesterday, Wuhan reported no new cases for the first time since the outbreak started," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a virtual news conference in Geneva.
"Wuhan provides hope for the rest of the world that even the most severe situation can be turned around.
"Of course, we must exercise caution; the situation can reverse. But the experience of cities and countries that have pushed back this coronavirus gives hope and courage to the rest of the world."
China as a whole is now reporting only a handful of new infections each day - all of them apparently from overseas visitors - as the crisis has shifted from Asia to Europe, which has now reported more deaths than China.

Ps. The city of Wuhan has been under lock down for 2 months. Movement restrictions have been eased but routes into and out of the city remain blocked for the time being.
Who is “we”? Except for most pharmacies not having any at the moment, there are no restrictions on prescribing either drug in the western US at least (I haven’t checked elsewhere), in fact many rheumatic patients need to take Plaquenil daily. And most daily medical bulletins (as well as Dr. Fauci) are urging caution in their use to treat COVID19.
IMO you should not be using hydroxychloroquine for your severely ill Covid patients. In Nevada and California, at least, the state medical boards have circulated evidence-based (as much as possible) guidelines, and like every other professional organization around the world, those drugs (hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, azithromycin) are not among the currently recommended treatments, although they may become part of some of the ongoing or future studies.
