My company just sent out an email asking us all to work from home for the next 8 weeks.

If this is really going to be or get as bad as the Media wants us to think, people should start thinking about buying Bullets, not Toilet Paper for when the Looting and Theft begins.

Got plenty of bullets, but I will need a few rolls of the white rolled stuff in a week.

We have 3 rifles, a shotgun and 3 hand guns with a few hundred rounds of ammo. All used for skeet and target shooting. Although 2 of the rifles are high powered.

Personally, I don't think it will come to that.

IN Fla, just announced, statewide , NO classes (school) until April 15th and according the Governor that also could change.

And cancellation of their asinine testing.

We walked into an empty of customers Costco at 5:15 this afternoon and they had plenty of TP and paper goods.

Most enjoyable trip to Costco ever.

I have several bricks of various caliber and always prepared for the end. We are seeing now just how quickly it can happen.

Oh, and now China is blaming the US Military for bringing the Virus to China instead of cleaning up their act. (But my conspiracy theory guy on my shoulder says it's highly possible)

I personally would go with eating snake and bat soup or China weaponizing the virus before our military took the virus there and turned it loose.

it doesn’t make sense to do that to a country where we get most all of our anabiotic’s and other medicines from.

In no way do I believe our military unleashed a deadly virus in china. If they did, then they knew it would spread world wide and kill people in the U.S. including people in their families. This came from bats just as MERS and SARS a few years ago. MERS is still around in the middle east. The chinese keep eating bats and all sorts of animals that carry virus that have the potential to jump species. The country keeps outlawing it and it works for a while until they start eating these animals again. The chinese people need to join the 21st century and stop believing in the power of Rhino tusks, exotic animals and the such.

I thought MERS originated from camels...???

I would like just to point out, that eating bats can't get you the (corona) virus.

You need at least one middle specimen to pass the virus (eg: bat > cat > human).

Michigan Bars and Restaurants were all closed several days ago except for carry out orders. At the same time they closed all theaters, gyms and casinos.

OK do you think having a mid creature like a cat or dog is out of the question?

Sorry for a bad example. Cats and dogs cannot carry the coronavirus.

But what I have written stands - people were unable to get the virus directly from bats.

Correct, the virus needs to mutate to infect humans. You need to have a Vector.

In epidemiology, a disease vector is any agent which carries and transmits an infectious pathogen into another living organism;[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] most agents regarded as vectors are organisms, such as intermediate parasites or microbes, but it could be an inanimate medium of infection such as dust particles.[SUP][3]

However it can be another animal.[/SUP]

It has already Mutated 3 times since China.

Gun and Ammo sales are at an all time high and the lines are longer than the ones for toilet paper.

Lots of people capitalizing on all this misfortune starting with the Hyper Media whose Nielsen Ratings went up and they are now charging more for ad time while they continue around the clock doom and gloom updates. However, they are not emphasizing all of the thousands of people who have already recovered. Why not?

There is an interesting study from Italy. What if we fell victim to ... panic ? What if the virus is nowhere as deadly as we think it is ?

More than 99% of Italy’s coronavirus fatalities were people who suffered from previous medical conditions,

The Rome-based institute has examined medical records of about 18% of the country’s coronavirus fatalities, finding that just three victims, or 0.8% of the total, had no previous pathology.

The average age of those who’ve died from the virus in Italy is 79.5. As of March 17, 17 people under 50 had died from the disease. All of Italy’s victims under 40 have been males with serious existing medical conditions.

I listened to a report on Sean Hannity show today (like him or not, I have never heard him comment on roomer).

He spoke about the Textile Industry in Wuhan, China. It apparently is connected with the textile industry in Italy. There are apparently record of 1000's of trips by workers in Wuhan to Italy via direct flight from Wuhan.

This could help explain the early and intense spread in Italy.

I will see if I can find the documentation for this.
