Allen's Listening Room

I've been looking for a world class preamp and phono stage for some time. Think I've found them!:D

Anyone recognize them?

Oh yes....I see you have gone Trinity all the way  According to Adam (Elberoth), DAC is also SOTA too.

Here's a better shot of them: the Trinity preamp and phonostage!:audiophile:

While auditioning other gear, these components were in the chain. While I was there for other gear, I still left with an indelible impression of them. They created a HUGE 3 dimensional soundstage where the sonic images were firmly planted and separated from other sonic images in the soundscape. They were neural, fast, and free from distortion or noise, a perfect match for my S5s!:P

I just took delivery of them last Thurs, still breaking them in. But since then, I've been enjoyed being wrapped in a 3 dimensional soundstage and letting the music wash over me!

Thanks for looking guys!

Good eyes, Cyril!

Never got to hear the DAC. It was always out on loan or unavailable...

Yes! Congrats Allen! Interested to know how you like the pre.
Chris

Thanks, Chris. I LOVE IT! You know how good the C1's soundstage is, right? This just amplifies it more, Ultra quiet, and really solidifies the great soundstage already created by the C1. Most notably, I feel like I can hear the back wall of the venue, the front of the stage, and everything in between with greater focus and layering. And the quietness of the phonostage is a great match with the Sparta! But you know that, too! :)

Seems like Trinity is gaining more traction now that they don't have a US distributor than when they had one!

Allen, I am envious. You've really got some great gear. That phono really surprised, what did you compare it to in your travels?

Thanks guys! It's amazing gear, deadly silent and the soundstage is to die for!

Kev, I actually didn't try too many other phonos, mostly tube based ones. But I think I'm more of a SS guy, loving the black backgrounds they give. When I realized that, I dropped the tubes and went for a phono I heard and liked. The fact that it matches beautifully with the preamp I was getting didn't hurt either!;)

Here's a pic of them in my rack. Absolutely no hum stacking them like this.:)
