Thanks Barry!

Two Mikes and Nelson...:D

Maybe I need to start and Alexia owners thread for sharing tips and tricks! Alexia's rule!!!
The Alexia owners club would be like
One of those exclusive manhattan clubs where you guys can sit around and smoke Cubans and drink rare cognacs and talk about your speaker placement , tips and tricks. I like it!!! Wish I could afford that club!!! Lmao!!!!

Hey, just because you don't own Alexia's doesn't mean you can't join in the conversation ;) Wilson Owners are not as snooty as some people might think! :P I'm not an Alexia owner!

Francisco, that is the first time ever I've seen those Alexias with those attached custom sound absorbing schemes.
Very unusual to say the least, and not particularly attractive to say in full honesty.

Bob,

It was the idea - if they looked too nice, someone could forget to take them out before listening and complain the Alexia's sound muffled.

The inner side, facing the speaker, has the smooth and good looking finish. They need a close fit to avoid sound leaks and I did not want to risk scratching the paint when placing and removing them.

I think the Sasha 2 in right sized rooms will be great. I have several friends with 12 x 18 rooms who are very excited about the announcement.

Finally heard Alexia's at local Wilson dealer. Very impressed and I think trickle down especially adjustable module and new tweeter will make Sasha 2 a serious smaller contender.

Nick

Nick, I heard the Alexias as well and they are d*mn good, especially with the Dag amps! As Mike says, the Sasha 2s would be awesome in the right sized room.;)

What amp was the Alexia paired with when you auditioned them?

Have I mentioned how happy I am with the Alexias? They are are approaching 300 hrs along with the DAG stereo amp and Shunyata Z-Anaconda. They are sounding sooo goood! :audiophile:

Congratulations Mike. Alexias are superb. Alexia/Dag is a proven combo.

That's music to my ears, Mike! I hope to get my gear in the next week or two! I cannot wait!:exciting:

There is some mighty fine systems popping up around here of late, congrats on the Wilson D'Ag system too.

Oooh Baby! My dealer just sent a note saying my Alexias should ship from Provo on the 17th.:D

But... they're going to sit waiting for some new carpet for the room, being measured for today. And then there is the little issue of the rest of my gears :panic:

As I expected, after all the urgency of filling out the insurance forms, and the comments they wanted to resolve things as quickly as possible, they continue to find ways to drag their feet.:shooting:
