Hi Jerome. It was one of Mike's hand-me-downs and I've had it for almost a year. Great cartridge with lots of energy. It does seem a little forward with my system though so I'm on the prowl for something a little different. I'm looking at an EMT TSD15 at the moment. How are the Super 8's treating you? If I remember correctly that's the model you have.

The Super 8's are awesome but they are in a system that does not get played a lot.
I have an XSD15 too. Too much bass on the Harbeth 40.1 and less definition. The Delos is a much better match for me.

I have a EMT TSD15 and I love it. It is a fantastic cart. I love my super 8's as well. I will be changing the super 8's for devore '93's or 96's some time soon.

Yes. Seems my long XLR run necessary in my room - is less than ideal. Still researching though.

Thanks Chris. I had a VDH Frog for a few weeks from my dealer and loved it. He tells me the EMT tracks a little better. But there are so many carts out there that I really need to look around more. I'm planning on getting the O/93's eventually too.

The O93 are certainly wonderful speakers.
But you should try to audition Harbeth speakers too. An other flavor and to me, by very far, the very best mids on earth.

That's too bad. Maybe it's time to clear things out and start fresh. Put the Shindo gear on a rack behind your new speakers. It's way too beautiful not to look at while you're enjoying it. Have you thought about turning the garage into a third system room? You live in FL. you don't need to use it for cars anyway.
