Where's all the Shindo owners?

. I wish I did a lot of things after I left, like shindo wire for my tonearm .

Thank you Vox' for the pics indeed you were blessed--possibly the Godiva Chocolates of a candy store:P!--just to allude to the Tonearm cable-- just do it --I tried a plethora of these and the Shindo was absolutely

superior in every sonic presentation--the only one to come close(but no cigar!)was the now unobtainium Hovland.

Lovely system you have -Good Listening

That's Ken Shindo's room? Holy cow. Did he have a bigger room too? The speakers look like they are two feet apart. How did it sound?

That's why he uses the fan to disperse the sound. You know, for the soundstage guys. Spreads it out. And around.

Agreed and pleased to see he spared no expense on it. ;)

There is also a machine on the ground to push the sound up and something on the top of the back wall to push the sound down. It was an all immersive sound. Thats why my brain turned to mush, it was to much Shindo goodness to take.

Loving me some Shindo. :woot:

Wow !
Those amps look familiar to me.
Curiously, when I received them and saw how the cover over the tubes could get hot I thought that they should be better without it.
Then I thought : "they are nicer with the cover and Shindo knows what he is doing. Let's put them on again".
And now what do I see : no cover in the Master's room !!!
As we say in french, I have been "plus royaliste que le roi" " More royalist than the King" !
I will remove them now !
Thanks for posting this.

Art Dudley said something about preferring the sound on all the Shindo amps he has tried with the covers off. I might take the covers off mine soon too.

When I got my D'Yquem's JH also recommended only using them with the covers off. Supposed better sound quality and longer tube life. I like the look better as well.

The weather is starting to get cold up here...it's gonna be Shindo-using season for a long time! Gotta love it when great gear also doubles as an excellent space heater.

To follow up…here's some photographs.
