Where's all the Shindo owners?

Well it's official I have been ban from AA. I am sure something i said here got there. Egos

the best thing that ever happened to audio forums. makes me want to go out and buy an audio desk record cleaner!!!

Are you kidding me? You were banned with no reason given? Wow. I'm on two infractions and a one week ban, so I assume I'm next on the list.

I simply questioned why I was deleted when others were allowed to be inflammatory. Sadly, I'm just on the wrong team to get any mileage in that discussion. It's too bad, there could've been as nice community of Shindo users if things could've stayed on track. The funny thing is, most of those banned (all?) are simply pro Shindo. We've been disciplined for not playing nice in the "friendly forum". Ironically, it is always in response to someone who comes in with a nasty comment about the brand. Well....what response do you expect in the Shindo forum? In any event, I definitely got the sense that criticism of the brand was tolerated, if not encouraged. Perhaps assisted by selective moderation, though I think that is just a byproduct of a now toxic environment and a hot personality rather than a conspiracy.

I realize that I could elaborate on any of these points but, honestly, I'm tired of the controversy. Hopefully interested Shindoists can build the community without any of the other issues - whatever they might be - that prevented it in the other place.

Great. I'm telling you, I don't really understand the dynamics of that other place. I really dislike forum conflict, but always felt the unofficial policy of the owner and moderator was to paint the brand as strange, cultish, and, the latest effort, potentially dangerous. Speaking of cultish, because the forum fosters such Ivan worship, there are legions who eagerly ride that vibe for a scratch behind the ear. Of course, those who disagree are "not friendly." I've never seen anything like it. I've been on the Klipsch forum and the Asylum for almost 15 years. Never a problem. One year at that place and I feel like I'm in the jr high lunch room. Friendly for friends of the management, I guess.

In any event, I've had a long Shindo journey and I'm happen to share my experiences in a truly Shindo friendly environment.

It's all good in my life I try to spend my time with people I like , not some high school bully . Thanks for the sentiment though and support.

The simple dynamic over there was that the "master" did not sell Shindo. That meant it would be never given a fair shake.
That site made me think of that cartoon when I was a kid about the little dog that idolized the big dog. "Chester and Boyd" I believe.
But it the end the big dog turned out to be a coward. I still can't believe they edited John Devores posts.

He wouldn't know good audio if it hit him in the face. Yes he sells expensive stuff......... But that doesn't mean it souds like real music. I have been a member of guitar forums and photography forums for years and have never had a bad experience.
