I feel for you Kev, and I can totally relate to your experience. You are in great company here; we might not be the most technically knowledgeable people on the planet but we come very very close to it. :) ...And you are among some of the best bunch of people here; and that, is a fact.

The main thing is this; we're all in it in the pursuit of improving, on all fronts.

I has a local guy cut and glue the Baltic birch layers. Then a friend of dales did the veneer. The veneer is amazing.

Ivan just upgraded me to a full ban without comment.

I assume either he or one of his super fans is reading this, so I'd ask for a refund of my membership dues. Feel free to pro rate it.

Now that I'm not encumbered with forum allegiances, I'd direct Magico representatives to the members only forums to discover that the thread in which his moderator was critical of the brand was moved not deleted.

I look forward to the day when a similarly situated manufacturer explores the outer edges of libel lawsuits for the selective moderation applied by his "volunteer" Dan, if not outright defamatory posts by the management.

To the members of AA, I can only say, isn't it great how Ivan gets you to drool over his systems and Ferraris on his for For Profit site?

I only wish that all the good people over there would finally wake up, including all the audio dealers/manufacturers and the brands that they are selling/representing.

And yes he or someone else is checking other audio websites (not just here); they have all the time in the world to do so as their member's list is small, and not what it appears to be (fudged numbers).

Well, thanks to Kev I have joined here. That other site is so full of sycophantic worshipping it's just not worth belonging to. Of course I have been threatened with bans as well, although they were never actioned. Look forward to some sensible Shindo talk.
