american all the way (cartridges being the exception).
Speaking only in general terms and by that I mean the countries have lots and lots of good examples/choices
Carts - Japan this is a bit of a runaway as other countries only offer a handful of top brands and models
Arms and Tables - Not enough experience on my part but USA, UK and Japan are top of mind
Electronics - USA, Germany, Japan too bad that the best of Japan are not seen much outside of the land of the rising sun.
Speakers - USA, Canada, Germany

Aside from the Lumin (China), everything else is made in California, Washington, and Maryland.

UK ( Harbeth and many others), France ( Verdier and Halgorythme. No Devialet !!!) and Japan ( Shindo, Kondo). USA is not far though ( McIntosh, ARC, CJ, Manley, Ayre, Altec, JBL, Wilson and many others) and Switzerland too ( Nagra, Dartzeel, Goldmund), and Italy ( Sonus Faber ) and Canada ( Verity Audio, Sim Audio, Classé) and Denmark and Norway ( EC), South Africa ( Vivid)....
Indeed all modern countries have wonderful hifi makers !

America for me. Heck I think all of the countries listed make some nice audio equipment.
