I pretty much agree with that review (just click on the above picture cover).
- Me personally: I love the original 'The Evil Dead' by Sam Raimi, and this "serious" remake was seriously entertaining, ...and bloody! :)
... See it!* :cantstoplooking: ...It grabs you and doesn't let go!

* ...Or unless it is not in your bloodline. ;)
 
Last night I revisited a flick that I immensely love! ...But this time, for the first time, on Blu.

* Alright; here it is => I don't know other people's level of values in life; their sensibilities, their degree of emotion, their level of acceptance and appreciation towards others, arts, music, cinema, and all that jazz...

But for me this flick rates very highly on my ladder of true emotional impact.
If you did not see it yet (it's a 1997 flick, so it's not from yesterday), then make a small effort to view it somehow; from any video medium that is easily accessible to you, and with Blu-ray being the very best, of course.
And watch it with your wife, your husband (girlfriend, boyfriend), and with your smart kids (if you have some). ...It'll give you all something solid in your heart and soul to cherish forever, I think.
