Such a beautiful piece with an interior that looks like artwork. Love the silver front panel too, but I am sure the sound it produces betters all cosmetics!

So beautiful! What is the anticipated break-in hours, Mike?

Thanks. They told me 500 hours (mostly for the transformers). But it’s fabulous already. It replaced the VAC REN5 SE Phono.

Congrats Mike on the ultimate Phonostage. A dream component for sure and a feast for the ears and eyes.

Enjoy,
Ken

I would get one but then I would have to get up and turn the record over....plus upgrade the old Victrola.
PS...Mike are you a dealer for them little needles? I’m down to a nub on mine. I have been sharpening it with a Dremel! Oh do you have them in various metals? I hear bronze has a warm tone, steel is cold and beryllium is the most accurate and 3D but can be toxic if resulting dust produced is inhaled as it wears down. Do you think the risk is worth the SQ? My life is in your hands. Do I need to sign a medical waiver and legal disclosure if I order one? I would hate to contract [h=1]Berylliosis![/h]:eyebrow:

I’ll tell you what. I’ll loan you a turntable and a pile of records and you will definitely want to add one to your sources!

Congratulations Mike! I can only imagine how great it sounds.

I know I’ve never enjoyed listening to music as much as I have with my VAC gear...

Thank you everyone. I’m so happy with the Statement Phono. Kevin said it was the piece he was most proud of in the history of company - and that’s a long list of great products.

I personally think the Signature 200iQ amp is just stupid good. I would never call $15k “inexpensive”, but in this case it’s a steal.

yeah... the 200iQ really makes me wonder... Around 15k and it's soooooooo good... It really unbalances that cost vs quality considerations with power amps. There are plenty of way more expensive amps that might be different, but I would not say they are better. Of course, I'm sure Kevin at VAC will out do it sometime in the near future! ha

And... tube rolling with the 200iQ is a pleasure. it REALLY displays the differences in tubes in a way that allows you to easily tune the sound to your liking... or to just play around with all kinds of different sounds. Great stuff.

Yep big fan of my 200iq.....yep stupid good for the money. Now if I just had the other black matching mate of mine! The bass I understand is more solid and prodigious than just one....
Where oh where could I find one.........does someone have all silver faces on their Vac gear except for that oddball black face on the amp?
Of course I would have to up the AC tonnage on my place!

I'm sitting at the kid's table, relatively speaking, but my VAC Renaissance SE phono stage has been blowing me away since I got it over a year ago. I always hear magic from a VAC phono stage, even the built-in boards to their preamps and integrateds. Now with all I keep hearing about the 200 iQ, I gotta get at least one of them in here to try. The current Rogue Audio 300 Watts/ch tube monos may be a teeny bit overkill for my 96 dB/Watt Tannoy Canterbury anyways, lol.
