I decide NOT to subscribe this thread anymore. Adios ~~~~~

Paul, I go out and spend 700+ dollars on four stainless steel pillars because of your recommendation, and then you disappear! Cut the crap and start contributing here again....like everyone else has said, I know you are reading everything anyway! :reallymad: :roflmao:

Okay, the Ultra SS went under my MVP881 just a few minutes ago. All I can say is WOW! I started with Shelby Lynn, Just a Little Lovin" (SACD) and right out of the gate the differences were noticeable. More detail, tighter bass, and LOTS of air. But, everything is exposed with these things. I found a significant recording mistake in the title track that I had never noticed before....everything is revealed!

I've been listening to the new Beck album all week and I'm getting to know it very well. It made sense to give it a go with the Stillpoints. Again, everything was confirmed that I heard with Shelby Lynn, but also noticed the soundstage stretching way out beyond the speakers - as much as two or three feet in some cases. And, the depth of the soundstage is just incredible...imaging like I've never heard in my system. I will go out on a limb and say this has had a more defining difference than my last three source changes COMBINED. Pretty incredible.

I've got an Oppo Modwright 105 Darbee coming next week. I hope the Stillpoints yield a similar result under it too.
