i'm sorry to tell you but you did get screwed by paying $700 for 4. Being the nice guy I am I'll take them off your hands for what you paid for them. You can send them to... :lol:

Great stuff! Will you place the speakers on Ultra 5s as well? As you may have seen, Albert Porter had great success with Ultra 5s and his Grande EMs on his audiogon site.
 
He bought it for all equipments and speakers but They are not in the final placement yet
We need also to treat the room and voice the speakers, still too much work
The Focals weights a lot and is not easy to move them with the Ultras in these uneven wood floor

Ok...Finally I put the Still points SS under my speakers.

I've been listening with them few songs. The sounds so much different. I can hear more detail on my CD's and sounds damn clean.

Now on other hand I'm not sure I like it though.

Maybe its too much good things ? My tube amps sounds like SS amps now.

I guess I will spend few more days with them see if this grow on me.

Please follow up Paul. What you're describing is what I'm so afraid of occurring.
 
Michael, I highly doubt you will be disappointed with Stillpoints under the Magicos. DeVores on the other hand does not surprise me & Paul isn't the first to tell me so. All subjective to taste & how much info one wants of course, but sometimes too much of a good thing doesn't suit something with the house sound of DeVores, tends to highlight it's shortcomings..... ;)
