Bob, to my recollection we have banned only 2 people. We basically only have 2 rules. 1. Treat everyone on our forum with respect and voice your opinion without putting anyone down. In other words, just be nice !!
2. No politics.
Bob, contrary to what you believe, everyone isn't nice. And we don't want the assholes here. There are plenty of other places they can hang out !
Three: Dev (David), Daveyf (Davey), and kana813 (Dan). ...In almost one year, that's not bad at all.
I am simply more patient myself (as a mod I would be very surprised if I ever have to fire someone, ban for life).
But that's ok Mark, it is not my decision to make or to contest. And it's not something that I think about every day.

This is extra from me: I am a very active person in life as I am on the Internet; that's who I am since I was born.
And because of that I get to know people more than your usual acquaintance. I'm also a psychological analyzer, not just a peace keeper.
I see the good in everyone, and I'm a human dealer; more important than my own life of over two million trees planted, over hundred companies I worked for, thousands of people I worked with, over 45 years of passion into Music (sound) and Cinema (movies and theater), are people living around me.
Here's another one: You people here are so good that if any friction surfaces once in a while between us, it takes me only few seconds or minutes to put it behind. I don't hold anything against anyone here (I cannot say the same from everywhere).
But you are abso!utely right Mark; not everyone is always nice all the time. I'm not talking about AudioShark, I'm thinking about some other people from other audio sites, and in real life who I faced directly. ...Not so easy to free yourself of it all, but that's one of the best ways. I'm sure everyone here knows exactly how it is. I'm no different.
If I feel that some people are getting annoyed by my presence I will disappear into the shadows, all on my own.
And I was very close to just do that; as a matter of fact I was. But I decided to reply to your post here because you have well spoken.
And let me assure you with certainty that I am on my guard right now; as to where I post (which thread) and what I say.
I'll take n' easy and stick with what I know best; Olympics, Having Fun (good humor), Movies, Music listening, and all the good jazz in life.
P.S. Mike, I'm not trying to get any attention or improve my post count; that's just who I am, a big active communicator.
It just happens that I share the same hobby as other audio people.
Just ask the members here who know me from other audio sites.
My favorite members are people like Evange (Jazz music) and John (Classical music),
and if they don't post, that's when I miss them the most.
