Is this the JBL M2? How did it sound? I'm interested in these.

Hello Joe is hard to believe that JBL has zero stage or sound Horney, has to be the set up. I can't get away from JBL, it’s been a big part of my life. Here is my pro homemade JBL 2226H and 2452H-SL that has the diaphragm coated on the back for no resonance, and does have a big stage and real life like sound.

Gideon didn't really crank it (and I didn't ask him to) so I don't know how loud it goes before sweating but it was plenty loud for my ears on several full jazz tracks and was totally solid, and very well balanced. Dynamic and then would drop to silent black for quiet passages. One of the things I came away with though, was how terrific it sounded at low volume reproduction, microdetail is top-notch. It is a very expensive system so it should be as good as I experienced!

I'm sure that show conditions are not always the best. It will be interesting to see reports from actual owners start to come out. I think they look cool but there are a few more speakers that I need to hear first.
