Record cleaning machines

attachment.php

You too Mike? :D

Very interesting Bob. Based on this, I'll stick with the AD.

I watched that video after my posting and made me cringe, I had sent a email to the manufacture asking specific questions but have yet to date receive a reply back.

They were pretty simple ones, see below

I'm interested in your record cleaner but have some concerns in how your unit works so my prized possessions don't get damaged - many are non replaceable - some very expensive.

1. On numerous occasions when I have purchased new vinyl upon opening have found actual record particles within the sleeve and on the actual record, will likely be some in the grooves also, same record material. How does your machine deal with this? Without damaging my precious record

2. Any dirt or particles on the surface or in the groves how does your machine deal with this without damaging my precious record

3. Is the same water used again and again to clean my next record? or does the water go back through some type of filtration process so uncontaminated water is then used on my next record?

Look forward to your response

Bob, The sound is like a new LP, just out of the seal
This $%^$# works
Don't know why I took so long to buy it
And I remember when I was at Mikes house, last year, and He told me to buy one
Sorry Mike for not take your recommendation the last time

That's ok, we all go at our pace! ;). At least you have one now and it's indispensable. Mine is a work horse. While I'm playing an LP, I'm cleaning the next one that I want to play.

That's why I was dead serious when I first asked you because from what I've read here and there this is the revolutionary limo RCM of them all!
And even for a guy like me with roughly only 5,000+ albums and three cheap turntables it might revolutionize my entire analog vinyl music listening world to its very shaking foundations! ...True tremors!

And when I made a similar comment at that other audio site, with couple intelligent questions they deleted my post!!!
Then I simply asked to restore it presto pronto; I wasn't happy at all, and my heart was pumping purple and violet blood!
Then right away soon afterwards I was banned for life!!!

Well, I guess that wasn't the right place for me after all. ...Don't ever freekin' judge other people, never ever! ...I'm talking to myself. :)

Bob, I only have like 3,000+
And is totally worth it

I came to bed now because I'm tired of showing off my new toy to friends and clients

When I played the Jermaine Jackson LP, I was a little nervous because it was too dirty
But my smile was wide open when the needle touch the vinyl. Wow , just wow

And I believe the Audiodesk is as good as Klaudio, each have they're virtues.
I like that I can use just water and no roller to touch the vinyl.

Did you read my review and how they tested the machine?

Next, the dirt that is removed is completely "pulverized" so to speak. No there's no filtering but I've never seen any crap in the water and all you do is change the water after a 100 or so LPs depending on whether you're cleaning new, used or a combo of the two. Water costs $2.

Sorry but the two machines aren't sonically equivalent. Records cleaned with the Klaudio sound better (you can see it in my review) though US cleaners still are cut from the same sonic cloth.
