Record cleaning machines

Very nice, I hate cleaning records but has to be done. I have a Loricraft PRC4 and does a marvelous job but it just takes way too long for me so anything that can speed up the process without degrading the sonics is on my short list to get.

I have been following along and so far I haven't read anyone having any mechanical reliability issues like the other one from Germany which is a good sign

Me too David,
The construction Feels like built for a Tank.
Many complaints made me choose these brand
Let's see how it behaves for a few months

There was some issues with the early Audiodesk. It's too bad it plagued the units reputation. Mine works like a charm, no issues.

Hi Mike,

Audiodesk was on my list to get but having so many mechanical break down issues and then having to send back to Germany, crazy! I have friends who have gone through numerous machines.

Is this your first unit, have you had any issues?

Yes, I've had it since April 2013. Cleaned roughly 500 LP's. The only issue I had was a rear roller didn't engage, but I called The Cable Co. (where I bought it) and they had me grab a little Allen wrench, make a quarter turn of this screw in the back left and it was fixed.

I know the early units had many issues, and Audiodesk never came out with a version 2 or version 3 or whatever. They just fixed the issues in the new units as they went along. That's not a great strategy, but little companies sometimes don't have a lot of options other than test products in the field. Luckily, I wasn't an early adopter on this one.

Nelson, this KLAUDiO Ultrasonic RCM seems to be the holy grail* of analog vinyl; and so much so that it even got me banned from another audio forum! * I used the word "revolutionary".
I would truly love that you share more with us as time goes by; this is of the utmost interest to me. ...Thx, much appreciated.

Enjoy your new "clean" spins. :)

Thanks Mike but I know of others who purchased in late 2013 and still report to have had issues, you are one of the lucky ones. Appears to me there must be a lack of QC, being a small business it's even more important to insure QC don't you think.

We did a group buy in April. I haven't heard of anyone else having issues. Could have been old stock.
