Hi guys, just joined on the recommendation of one very nice pig. Glad to be here.

I am interested in all things audio and learning as much as I can in the pursuit of high fidelity. My humble set up consist of vintage McIntosh, idler drive turntables and more tonearms then I know what to do with. I have collected records for 25 years and enjoy all things analog. I will keep it short and just say thanks and I look forward to exploring the forum and learning form it's members.

Hey Jeremy good to see you stopped in. Post some pics of those beautiful tables you have.

Regards
Mister Pig

Well thanks so much for the warm welcome guys, Mister Pig I will be posting pics as soon as I hit my 10 post count.....

My Main rig starts off with a few turntables

main table is a Garrard 401 in a diy plinth, currently hosting a Fidelity Research fr54 tonearm with orsonic headshell and soundsmith ruby retipped , cocobolo wood bodied Denon dl103r. round back is a SME 3009 with a pickering v15 cartridge set up for 78rpm playback.

table number two currently set up is a DIY affair using a transcriptors hydraulic reference platter and bearing. I have three arms mounted to that table. first is an Audio Technica atp12t with audioquest headshell and Denon dl160 , my second Fidelity Research fr54 has a denon dl103 with 18g audio technica headshell. third is a Sumiko premier mmt with audio technica cartrdige on it for the dirty records.

I also have a Russco studio pro b in a DIY plinth currently out of rotation but soon to be back in.

the main rig

It starts with a McIntosh c33 peramp running into a DBX driverack pa( used for auto eq room correction) running into a pair of McIntosh mc2105's in a horizontal bi-amp configuration. I use Kimber silver streaks, Kimber hero and Blue jean cables for interconnects and some DIY "white lightning" style speaker cables running into a pair of Dali ikon 6 speakers.

phonostages is where my system is currently severely lacking, I use a Musical fidelity v-lps for one MC and one MM cartridge, a NAD pp2 for 78 playback and a diy Redboy step up transformer for the dl103. I have a rare McIntosh mvp-1 moving coil step up but find it is not the best match for the dl103r or 103. currently it sits waiting for a cart better suited for it.

jeeze two more...... lets see, I am a music fan especially New Orleans music. I love me some jazz piano and anything with a tuba in it.
