New guy from New Orleans

I really do hope I am not breaking any forum rules here by posting a over and over to get my ten post count. I believe this is number ten so hopefully photos will follow very soon....

Jeremy...very nice, warm inviting space and set-up you have! Your analog rigs are awesome! Enjoy them all in good health.

I like tuba also.

I don't think I have any Cds tho. :(

Any good ones you would suggest?

Yeah sure, if you like brass band stuff then I highly recommend the new album by Preservation Jazz hall band called "thats it!" great album of original compositions that really showcase that dirty New Orleans jazz sound. Also Dirty Dozen brass band, Rebirth brass band and the Soul rebels brass band are all New Orleans favorites. All feature the tuba!

For New Orleans piano I highly recommend Professor longhair, James Booker, Allen Toussiant and Dr. John, all legends of New Orleans piano heritage.

Awesome vintage McIntosh !!

Thanks! I love me some vintage McIntosh!
Nice system Jeremy! Love the Garrard 401!

Is that a DIY rack you have there? Very nice.

Thanks the 401 is a great sounding table, the idler sound is addictive! Yes the rack is a DIY flexi style rack. I painted it and added the McIntosh logo to match the system, thanks for the compliments!

Hey Jeremy, welcome to the shark!

Thanks, glad to be here!
