Myles B. Astor

Agreed and also the phono cable and phono section overload. Do you remember Jonathan Carr's discussion about phono cables on WBF?

yep. Jonathon likes really low cap phono cable, but high loading - 47k with his Connoisseur phono

Hey Myles,

Looking forward to that review (Audia Flight)!
I've had the no. 4 in my room for a while, and one notable feature about it is that it seems to have limitless power!
It was used to drive a pair of YG Sonja 1.3 in a very large room at the local audio show last year. Didn't flinch! And that was the stereo version (no. 4).
The local magazine ranked it as the 2nd best stereo amp they've ever reviewed, only bested by the D'Agostino (but the Audia Flight is cheaper).
I'm pretty sure all those Q5s out there begging for power will be pretty happy with one (or two!) of those...

cheers,
alex

You could have saved a lot of typing and just posted the pic if the cat likes it then it is good right

Dunno, by the looks of his face & ears, looks like he's getting high frequency hash to me.

Looks great Myles! Does the "180" in the display window mean the phase is inverted?

No that is the loading value. From 20-400 ohms the remote control loading is adjustable in 10 ohm jumps; to 1000 in 20 ohm increments. There are also two independent remotely controlled settings. So you could set one for 100 and the other 160'ohms and switch back and forth between the two settings.

Look great, Myles, can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! But I'm still waiting for the Audia Flight review!:evil:

Looks like it'll be after Munich now. Peter was working on the post-production and decided an interview with the designers in Munich would really add to the review. So not much longer.
