Doshi 3.0 phonostage and PS.

Myles,

What is the front display illustrating, is that loading ....?

That new look from Doshi is great looking. I've always liked the sound of his gear. I hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Is the cat single ended or balanced? :fingers:

Good one!

Usually the comment is there's always a cat in the picture! :) In this pic, definitely balanced on the cable. Comfort to cats is an interesting proposition!

What are the small components next to the Pre-amp? Dacs? Source?

I do enjoy the cats. I show pics to my wife and ask her to find them. That way I can get away with geeking out on audio websites a bit longer.

Thanks Bruce. Yes there are the iDSD Dac and iUSB modules. Right now the Scaena Music Frame server is pending arrival since Sunny needed it for the Axpona show.

Just arrived. Differentially balanced Transparent Gen. 5 phono cable designed by Nick in collaboration with Josh at Transparent specially for his new 3.0 phono stage. Listening to analog in a new and different way.

Looks really good Myles. So, how does it sound?

Boy talk about a bunch of impatient audiophiles! Just put it in. Give it some time! :)

But it certainly gives one pause to think about analog front-ends. A system is only as good as the weakest link in the chain and the analog playback chain is no exception! Table, arm, cartridge, phono section, phono cable, isolation, etc. must all be up to snuff.

Okay. It has been an hour. How does it sound? What is the recommended burn-in time? For a phono signal it must be at least 1000 hours. :)

Apparently, it hasn't been an hour. Maybe I found another bug with the forum software. My time is 8, but the post shows as 7, and my time setting is PST.
