My turntable project is finished !!!

Okay, so take a ratty looking but operational Pioneer PL-600 and turn it into a sweet table. Mechanically it worked very well...but pitted and butt ugly. Paid $42 plus $30 shipping (pay attention those looking for how to save money by buying a vintage table). This was a fun and EASY project..not a hard table to dismantle

Now she looks like this...I just wish the RED would show up as well on my camera phone...lol

Yes, a hobby. My system is set...but I get bored and was so used to playing with Turntables, restores...I find ones that need love and fix them !!! LOL

That turned out great! The red would be more red with an Android. :P

What cart are you going to put on it?
 
Honestly I was chuckling with your first post and almost replied but couldn't properly see my keys, I was looking for my sun glasses due to those bright PINK pic's :) Ha! Ha! Looks great!
 
Oh man...It would be like owning a Pink IPHONE...

True story....my son joined the Navy this year and finally bought himself the new IPhone when it came out...but because they were all out of stock except one - he had to take a PINK one...real nice for the Navy guy...LOL

Your son is smart man ! I think he purchased the pink one on purpose so no one in the navy would steal his IPhone. :D

All the joke aside. May I purchase some vintage TT and send it to your way to restore ?

Rob, I assume the new finish is paint. What did you use? How much prep work did the surface take?
