Been lurking for a bit, so felt it was about time introduce myself.
I'm exclusively 2-channel, and listen mostly to jazz and classical, with an occasional classic rock title thrown in for good measure. My primary source is analog. Huge fan of VPI - I own 3 of their 'tables (Classic I, Aries I, and an HW-19 Mk IV). Also really like Dynavector and Lyra cartridges.
In addition to Harry Weisfeld, some other equipment designers that I really admire are Nelson Pass, Arnie Nudell, Jonathan Curl, and Ron Sutherland.
I also post regularly on Vinylengine and Audiokarma, but sometimes the extreme attitudes that can rear their heads on those sites really detract from the experience. This forum seems to be very congenial, so I'm thinking maybe I've found a new hangout.
