I auditioned both the S3 and S5 on the same system and I would say that I preferred the S5 by a slight margin. Honestly, they were pretty close in my opinion. What are you planning on replacing your Vitus RD-100 / RS-100 with once you sell it, the Vitus SIA-025?

Joe, I don't think you can go wrong with either speaker. I love my S5s, but probably would've been equally happy with the S3s. Took me weeks to decide between the two.

Hi Allen,

If I was shopping for speakers, S3 and S5 would definitely be on my list. I love my 40.1's and Strads. I loved the S3 at Rhapsody when Bob played them with the Rogers integrated.
