Lampizator Big 7 Review

I second TotalDAC USB cable. Terrific cable (the best I've heard in my system) and if you consider excellent value for maney ratio, it is a no brainer.

Do you know what is the best sounding or technically advisable preferred length (as far as I know we can get between 25cm and 2m length)?

Anyone tried it with Devialet?
 
I have a few questions.
Does it also have a SE output as well as balanced ?
Does it still have an analog input to used as a preamp like before. And if so is it lBAL and SE input. ??
Glad there is some tube rolling options now. Great job and looks fantastic

I have always read that the shorter USB cable - the better. There have also been some reviews (in HiFi Critic for example) that sugested likewise.

Personally, I didn't bother to test various USB cable lenghts. I use the shortest cable that fits in my system (which is 1.5m).
 
Steve Nugent always advised 1.5m to 2m. Longer than 3m and you get latency issue and shorter than 0.75m and there coulbe be signal reflections? I think that was what he said.

Did he said that about USB cables ?

I remember him saying that about SPDIF coax cables (which was correct ONLY under certain circumstances).
 
I haven't had an issue with a 3m Wireworld Platinum Starlight G7 length. That said, I have only been playing around so far and haven't compared other USB wire.

IF I buy a Lampi GG, will this cable be OK?

Yes, a pair of SE RCA outputs right below the two Balanced outputs in the web site photos.

This week is big for me. I will get my Lite 7 DAC. I am soooo exciting.... Yess.

I have a question. Which USB drive should I use for windows 8.1? I mean There is two module on lampizator.eu

1) Amanero Module

2) Exd Module
 
You are in for a real treat. The Lite 7 is absolutely world class.

Use the Amanero driver.

You will have some serious fun when the Lite 7 arrives. I heard it at The Show Newport recently. Close to the Big 7 in performance and sonics at half the price.
