Kraemer Designs D~400 Hypex NC400 Mono Amp Build

Plans came up tonight, so not much listening but i got to snap a few pictures quick. I will be able to listen for a few hours tomorrow morning before i go out to the shooting range.

I installed the bottom cover today, i forgot it in my toolbox yesterday.

It's been over 25 hours since last time I post on the entire Internet.
And within that time I've read a few.

But here it is, my first reply to you.
I'm looking at everything you built since you first started, and with now these monoblocks.
You are only 25 and you did some amazing designs of your own.

But what you truly did is much more than that; you showed us some reality, some down-to-earth real prices, some beauty, some real dedication in machining, some high-end audio, .... and all in the name of love; the music. :cool:

Do what you do best, and feel totally and comfortably numb in it.
...Not for the money, of course not, but for the true love; the only thing that truly counts at the end. ...And that includes personal satisfaction and encouragement from your friends and lover. ...Because that is the food and roof over your head and heart.

I'm proud of you; you restore my faith.

FINALLY!!!!!! got my TT~2 done today. It was done.... but right before anodizing i made a few changes and i just had to make a new drive pulley, well i made it today. The speed is very accurate and the sound is just wonderful. The Lyra Delos cart really makes for an enjoyable experience.







Tomorrow should be exciting because i could get my cases back and my Bel Canto DAC 2.5 comes :) :)

The official ad or list will go up this weekend (Here, AudioCircle, DiyAudio). I'll be making 10-14 cases.

Just want to know if any sharks are interested in some cases. The amp modules must be purchased and funded by the buyers. They cost roughly $1,400 for the pair shipped to the US from Europe.

The cases are $650 each shipped with connectors installed. I can assemble the cases if you send me the amp modules for $100 per case.

Let me know. I for sure have 4 cases claimed on the list.

Wow great thread !! I'm a tube guy and am bringing home some new amps pretty soon. But I've also been looking for a pair of solid state amps to switch back and forth between.
This is a great inexpensive option for that. And gorgeous as well!!!

I love the blasted nickel! It really makes the machining look great....reminds me of constellation gear a bit :)
