Yes, Zellatons. JV of The Absolute Sound voted these as the best at Munich this year.
My Emotions are incredible.

Yes, I saw that. Harley was a big fan as well.
Having just took delivery of some CH gear, I have to think a good portion of the exquisite sound at Audio Arts is contributed by the Zellatons.

Yes...except the Zellatons that JV and RH were cooing about in Munich are the Zellaton Reference loudspeakers which cost $99,750...not sure what the Emotions go for but hopefully not $100K

With these prices, me too! Wow! Hopefully another week or two until I get them. I'm so looking forward to hearing them in my room.
The amg is a great table! If that is going, you must have some pretty spectacular alternates

All models of the Zellaton line uses the same type of handmade drivers, so they all have the same characteristics. Transparency and speed of these speakers are like no other. Even the Harbeth distributor, Fidelis, now sells Zellatons.
I got mine from Audio Arts, but I had to settle with the poor man's version of the Goldmund/Ch Precision amp. The Job 225 is incredible on the Zellaton's.
The Zellaton Emotions would work perfectly in a room that size. My room is 16x22.

Wow!!!! Using the Job on the Emotions, I knew it's a great amp. That's cool. I'll have to check them out. They are certainly on the list now. I haven't even received the 40.1's yet so I have time to look around and make the right choice. Thanks!

As revealing and as forward as the TADs were, they were not fatiguing to me. It's just that they let me know all too well if something was not perfectly recorded. I could listen for hours and hours without any problem, but if I cranked it up more than my comfort zone, I felt a little bite. Up until that point, all was wonderful. It's funny, even the horns on my Cornwalls do not seem to be as forward as the TADs on similar songs. If I was a recording engineer, I think the TADs would be a great mix speaker. I just crave a little more sweetness and warmth compared to the TADs. Maybe Strads might be too much of a good thing, I don't know. The Harbeth 40.1's will be a wonderful barometer until I figure out where to go with my choice. I promise to come over and hear your Zellation Reference speakers when they are broken in.

Joe. Once you get a hook on Harbeth with nice box sounds it will be so hard to go back with fancy speakers.

I think you are right. Jerome was telling me how much he loves his 40.1's, even more that the Alexia that he demoed.

Fidelis also sells Wilson and Fidelis is getting quite a few of the used Alexia's traded back in on the Zellatons. I would call Fidelis and see what they say. If Fidelis is not far, they would have the Alexias, Zellaton's, and Harbeths all in stock.
The Zellatons are open baffle so they will be more open and image better that any closed box speaker.
