Hi all,
This is my first post and I would like to introduce myself.
I am in my 50's and live in the south of France, where the sky is most of the time clear blue, the rose wine chilled, (I assume its not the proper place to talk about women..)
I love music; to play music (classical guitar); to listen to live music. Opera, Symphonies, Chamber music, recitals, or Jazz and since I am a kid, I love "HI-FI".
I remember I spent my first summer job paycheck (40 years ago...) to buy a R2R AKAÏ 4000DS Mk2 to record live concerts broadcasted on the radio.
Since then, my system has been in constant evolution.
I listen mostly to jazz and classical music, and sometimes to folk music, CSN&Y, Leonard Cohen,Simon and Garfunkel or blues and rock, JJ Cale, Clapton, Creedence clearwater Revival, Led Zepp.
I have the chance to live in a modern house in the woods and I can listen to the music with almost "realistic levels" without annoying anyone, in a large living room with a great acoustic.
That's it for the moment!
The quest to the best sound never ends..
Analogically yours
