US now the epicenter of the pandemic with most cases, incl. China. This is particularly remarkable, as testing has been rather sketchy. The real numbers are likely to be significantly higher.

You see only one person in this picture wearing a mask. There were people throughout the line wearing a mask as they deemed necessary. There was for the most part at least a cart distance between people or couples. People in this state for the most part understand what is happening. This wasn't the Mardi Gras.
 
That is the most comprehensive, science-based article/interview about the Covid-19 that I have seen.
The speaker is the head of South Corea’s response to the virus. The questioner did an excellent job of asking the right questions.
This South Korean doctor, out-Fauci our Dr. Fauci. I highly recommend the whole thing. Lots of solid, scientific, and factual information here.
It is 30 mins long, but folks should make time to watch it.
 
We just received a Emergency Alert from the FL Surgeon General:

"Stay at home if 65+ or have medical conditions. All following social distancing."

Guessing it's state wide. Anyone else in FL get it?
 
Two things that surprised me:

1. The Governors of FL and TX allowed spring break to happen.
2. The mayor of NO claims somebody should have told her not to hold Mardi Gras in the middle of a pandemic because she had no clue it was a bad idea.

And FL had the Dem Primary as well. Lots of seniors in FL. and many work at the polls ... only a 20% or so turn out but we shouldn't have had it IMO.

(not meant to be a political post, but the naming of an event that IMO shouldn't have happened)

Yes it's the same place. A Forest Gump moment - my mama told me .... :roflmao:And it's only going to get worse as people from other states - that may or may not be infected - are coming here as well. :popcorn:
