Color

Mike, all of those would look good if you got Steve to come in and paint your walls! :)

I still think you need to do a bright/loud color. (or is that "colour" for you Canadian guys? :P)

I want the beautiful music coming out of the speakers to be what people focus on and not some bright color. In fact, I've half thought about getting a custom paint job to match the walls! Yes, I'm boring....I am Canadian!

Love the video Mike! I like the last one:

Hey Doug, ask Mike what his wife said when he asked her what color he should get !! lmao

I remember reading that quote!!!

I wanna know; can't remember reading that. :)

Wilson has this cool tool on their website:

Wilson Audio: Design Your Own Loudspeaker

That's cool.

Here's what I believe is a good match for your room Mike. ...Anyone of those three (in no special order):

* Imola Red (Grill: Black) --> The most 'poignant' one (but still a good match, without a doubt).
* Carmon Red (Grill: Black) --> Perhaps the best match.
* Sebring Blue (Grill: LeMans Blue) --> Should look quite sharp too (very good matching).

Wilson owners - does anyone know what color this is?

Here's my room....any color suggestions? (Sorry, no red or orange for me!)

Mike, is that a reflective finish on those? If so, ......break out the Cylon polish! Keep your Cylons shiney! Debs is going to slap me for calling her speakers Cylons. Just having fun now.

My WP8 are Topaz. Same tone but lighter. More like a dark beige. But this color looks very good too. Chocolate no ?
So Mike you're heading towards Alexia finally ? you find them better than the Raidho ?

Are you still on a color hunt Mike? ...Desert Silver. ...It'll match your room just fine, and your amps.

- That is if you don't like my previous suggestions.

Bob - I have no idea! I like so many of the colors. I saw the desert silver in person and it wasn't overly thrilling. Maybe a "wild" color would be better. Heck, I don't know.

Hi Jerome - how are you? To answer your question, I wouldn't say better, just different. I'm fortunate to have two systems and can enjoy them both (assuming I go with the Alexia's and don't fall head over heels for something else at RMAF). The Alexia's play louder, go lower and have a glorious midrange. The Raidho's are more transparent, more holographic and are the epitome of a non fatiguing speaker. They also have the best tweeter I have ever heard and a more defined bass. Paired with VAC amps (I'm still testing amps though) - they are magical. Both are world class speakers.
