My first Hi-Q LP. Good sonics, but a bit noisy pressing.
That's too bad Allen. Is the noise still present even after a cleaning?

Recent purchase, first listen. Music is very dynamic, explosive at times. A reference quality recording from, well, Reference Recordings.

IMHO, it's one of Keith Johnson's greatest recordings. I have it on vinyl (original RefRec analogue, 2 record set), tape (Tape Project from the analog master), and RefRec HRx (176-24 digital transfer from the analog master). Looks like the CD that Allen has was taken from the digital master. At that time, 1992, Keith was recording in parallel, doing both analog tape masters (for his vinyl releases) and digital masters for his CD's. 1992 was before Keith introduced HDCD for his CD's (1995).
