Title says it all. Who else here loves beer? What are your favorites? I'll start with my top ten:

IPA's : Aprihop by Dogfish, Ruination by Stone, RPM by Boneyard and Interurban by Freemont
Stouts: Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout, Porter by Scuttlebutt, Dark Star Imperial Oatmeal Stout by Freemont (my favorite of all things beer :exciting:)

Ales: Tripel Belgian Ale by Scuttlebutt

Others: Ayinger Brau-Weisse and Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse

Honorable mention: Piney the Elder by Russian River, Creme Brulee (Imperial Milk Stout) by Southern Tier, Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout by Stone, Pilsner Urquell

Those are my favorites but there are MANY other beers that I could drink on a day to day basis.

Matt

Well, I love beer on Friday and Saturday night. In fact, it is an important component in evaluating new gear. My favorite is whichever micro-brew 12 pack Safeway has on sale that week. :D

For the most part, beer is beer.

They are all different, some more than others.

Depending on my mood, I like Duvel, Chimay and Stella Artois Heinekin and Yuengling.

edit: I forgot to mention Grolsch because I haven't had it in a while.

Hi guys retired from Molson brewery's AHLB4147.jpg all i can say is that AFTER the firs two IT IS VERY difficult to SAY what kind you are drinking and these tests where done with VERY HEAVY drinkers believe me.:):):)

Beer nut here. Hard to list favs but at the moment I am finishing up several selections including a recent fav, Heady Topper by the Alchemist, which was recently Beer Advocate's #1 beer. Others listed are also on my list like Southern Tier, Rogue, Widmer, St Bernardus, Unibroue, Long Trail, Lagunitas, Green Flash, Allagash, Ommegang, Magic Hat....so many more.

Picking up my mixed case of Spring Beers later tonight from a yearly trade, my selection was Elder Betty by Magic Hat.

Hey Matt, there's a nice little brewery up here in MI called Founders. I believe that they just started shipping to TX a month or so ago. They have a nice line up that's worth checking out. Try Centennial Ale or Red's Rye for starters. They have one heck of a Stout as well...

I LOVE BEER !!!!!! My fat belly can attest to that ! I've been keeping it simple for a while...........Stella Artois , Every night !!

I don't drink anymore, but when I did my favorite was Grolsch. Two 16 ounce snap cap bottles was enough to give me quite a buzz:bonkers::bonkers:

Grolsch had the best bottles. Good for home brewing!

I love beer (but beer doesn't love me)...goes right to the gut. But my favorites are:

1. Big Rock Traditional (Western Canada)
2. Rickard's Red (Eastern Canada) (tied for first)
3. Grasshopper (Western Canada)
4. New Castle Brown Ale (England)

I can tolerate AmberBock, Stella Artois, Amstell.

Mike
p.s. for the record, I can't stand Molson Canadian or Labatt's Blue. That's the crap Canadian's ship south! We keep the good stuff for ourselves!

Thats funny, and Stella is the Belgian Bud. Another funny one is Fosters Lager from Australia, where they don't even drink it because it is really just for export.

Funny you mention beer! I watch a friends dogs once a month and she works for a liquor company . She always tells me to take the beer. So I get sample bottles
1 or 2 of each. Lets me taste alot of different kinds.
This month is
Samuel smith - organic chocolate stout and organic pale ale and winter welcome ale
Red seal ale
Acme pale ale
Ayinger brauweisse
Anderson valley heelch o'hops
Haven't tried any of em yet. Most I usually hate but every so often there's a winner .
