Beer!

Just had a dogfish head 60 min. IPA, my rotation includes Smuttynose, Two Roads road 2 ruin double IPA (from nearby in CT!), sierra ruthless rye, sierra torpedo, any heavily hopped IPA! Man now I'm going to have to have a second one, writing that made me thirsty...

Now THAT"S a list! Beck's, Ha!

Hi guys retired from Molson brewery's View attachment 1646 all i can say is that AFTER the firs two IT IS VERY difficult to SAY what kind you are drinking and these tests where done with VERY HEAVY drinkers believe me.:):):)

Oh my, Molson beer!!! From 1989 to 1991 I was in grad school at Ohio State and while there, I fell in love with a Molson beer called Brador.....to this day, I still love that beer though sadly I have not had /seen it since I left Columbus.

I do love Duvel,Chimay and Stella Artois, but, I also love Negro Modelo and the dark Shiner. Sadly, I have not kept my beer drinking skills up but that will be changing soon...

Cheers,

Boulevard Wheat from Kansas City, MO; Stella Artois; Newcastle Brown Ale; Dundee Honey Brown; Shiner Bock (Texas); Dos Equis Amber; Budweiser.

Coopers Ale & my mostest favourite of late James Squire: One Fifty Lashes, my, I'm starting to salivate writing this, hiroo!

Heady Topper is an excellent beer, but anyone coming to northern Vermont should also look for Hill Farmstead Edward on tap. Shaun Hill may be our best brewer. Lawson's Finest Ales are also very good, as are many beers from Lost Nation in Morrisville and Trapp's in Stowe.

Sadly, these beers don't ship so you'll have to come visit to try them. Or invite me over and I'll bring a few along. Mike came very close to a Heady Topper last spring.

If you're able to come in September for the autumn color, you also have this to look forward to:

Siptemberfest 2013 | Friday, Sept 27 & Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013

A coworker went to that beerfest and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was able to bring me a 4pack of Heady Topper. But then my friends were at their condo in Stowe and they brought me home a full case. Her brother is a brewer and also friends with a guy who brewed at Majic Hat, then Alchemist, and now is at one of the othe fine breweries you mentioned. The Lawsons Wry PA is good and all the Farmsteads are as well.

I agree with Michael on Rogue Dead guy, an excellent beer, and I had to buy it in South Carolina. I'll look for the Double next time. Peeper (Maine Brewing) is another excellent pale ale, as is Smuttynose Finest Kind (NH). We're so lucky today with all of these small breweries.

Stone enjoy by IPA, 3 floyds dreadnaught, pliney the elder (although have only ever had my own homebrew version of pliney, using the recipe coming from russian river brewing co), founders centennial, racer 5, alesmith ipa.

Founder's Centennial... Oh yeah!!! We have so many good breweries here in Michigan it isn't funny. I'm enjoying a nice Red Ale right now by another local brewery called Brewery Vivant. They make a beer called "Big Red Coq" that is my new fav.

Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn Lager, Blue Point, Captain Lawrence. I'm not a connoisseur. If it's not PBR, I'll drink it.

I don't really drink that much anymore, but back in the day...that's another story.

Every now and then, I have been know to enjoy a Guinness, Molson Golden, or a Budweiser...usually in that order of preference. Of course, being from Columbus, OH, I grew up on Bud.

One of my newly discovered favorites is Fort George Brewing out of Astoria, Oregon - I'm liking everything that I've tried so far, especially the Vortex IPA!

Wile in Savannah a few weeks ago, I was introduced to a new favorite that I can't get here. I was able to find and bring a case home.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

It's like sipping a real smooth buttery vanilla whiskey with a little carbonation.
