Hi Norman,

Yes, I am pretty sure it's mine. I have cash in hand and hope to see it tomorrow or Friday. So exciting. I think the 211 amps ship either next week or the following week.

I really want to hear how they match with the 211 Bal amps. That is the combo I want info about…based on prelim feedback out of Poland.

This is wonderful news, Joe, congrats!!! Wow, I love the version of the Big 7 that you picked. Balanced with all aluminum chassis. This was totally the right decision with the incoming balanced 211 amps. It should sound sublime. What caps did you choose?

Thanks Ken, not but probably the standard Dueland. I never specified.
 
Joe,

If I go for a Big 7 next year, it will probably be the SE version because it turns out my Soulution 520 Preamp is unbalanced through its XLR inputs. Cyrill Hammer said they could detect no audible difference between balanced and unbalanced, so they went for the less complicated unbalanced design. Based on the amount of jazz vocals I listen to, the Dueland copper or Jensen copper caps would probably work best for me, to provide a beautiful midrange. Elrog 300B or EML 45 Mesh output tubes for the same reason.
