I thought both MBL rooms sounded great today; love the tape sources and the soundscape.

My "wow" moment? Muraudio. Widest, deepest soundstage I think I've ever heard. Totally encapsulating. They say "sound is everywhere" and it was completely true.

I need to get back to the Muraudio room tomorrow. Time to eat steak and rest my weary feet.

Those Scansonic's were simply hilarious for the money (in a good way). They beat so many speakers costing 10 times as much it's crazy. BUT, I did hear a little boominess. I wonder if it was the room and I wonder how the side firing woofers would cancel that? But look, for $3500, are you kidding me? They were amazing. For $3500, I can work around a slight bass issue (which is probably not a bass issue - just a hotel room issue). Loved them!

I hated it. Bass, treble and not much in between.

Understood, and wouldn't necessarily argue if you came on Friday, but Saturday was a completely different system. Please come back on Sunday if you have an opportunity. That's just the way of shows, but we're all happy with how things are gelling now.
