Thats what happened to me with Shindo. I finally just gave in, sold the McIntosh 275's and never looked back.
Do we see this in your future.
What preamp did you demo them with?
The preamp is a huge part of the magic, maybe the biggest part.

JJ, yes indeed!For the speed, signature & immediacy I have not heard anything that will touch my Soulution 520 preamp. It is the only thing that is still the same in my last 3 systems. The preamp to me is the system, the rest is just shades of colouring.

Kev. I was just thinking that too. I can see it's one of my weakest link in the chain as well. Hopefully I can try the one of Allnic preamplifier next week and Shindo as well.
