Yes, He just brought his Allnic pre-amplifier for me to try hahaha.
No worries Mark. That is good advice. Sometimes you need to step back, take a breath and just enjoy what you have for a while to get a proper perspective.
love it!!!! :exciting:Thanks again Mark![]()

well you already know i do. and always have since my BAT days. although i will have h1201/t1500 here soon to try together, i also found out the t1500 can be used as a preamp, and will try it with my carys as well. How many of you guys out there do mix and match on Pre & Power amp brand ?
Just curious to know......
I do, and am currently running the Audia Flight Phono and Pre driving a Rowland 625 power amp. I have never found it necessarily better sticking with one brand of electronics, although when doing so you can be assured of a proper match. Mixing different brands requires some trial and error, but I find that to be much of the fun of this addiction! :audiophile:How many of you guys out there do mix and match on Pre & Power amp brand ?

The Kensigton's finest quality is their midrange, up there with the best.
They are efficient but not so much to make it easy to drive with a 300b amp.
Although the bass goes nearly as deep as the big Canterbury's it starts to role off early so in some rooms this can make them sound a tad thin.
The DC10 a's are very similar sounding to Kensigton's but in a more modern looking cabinet. The DC10 T's I have not heard.

IMO, dealers that can make house calls and set-up gear for extended auditions are worth every penny. It's hard to keep this in mind when we're always looking to squeeze that last incremental 5-10% off but the ability to try things at home for a few weeks is invaluable. Congrats again Paul on the new gear and on discovering Mark.
Yes I Do Paul, Mike Sent Me One .LOL!!!Oh..You do have a shift key :congrats:
thanks!! i cant run xlr from the h1201. guess ill have to step it up to the h3000"paul please please do the xlr/rca test for us, from allnic pre to allnic amps. id really appreciate to know the differences. thank you and enjoy!!!!"
I think I was trying too hard to hear a diff XLR vs RCA and was making thing up in my head, or ears! I really don't think there is much difference between the two. I did not spend too much time testing as my DHT's were gone in less than two days, off to Paul's they went. I will try again when I get them back in a week or so.

Hahaha You are funny. I will try to compare however its two different brands so not sure if its right comparison though. Kimber KS1136 VS Cardas GR.
Thank you Mike ! Totally agree with you.... the home audition is MUST for me ! Huge advantage for customers plus some what dealer's side too because since I met Mark I like to try buy everything from him if I can. I haven't seen you much lately in here. Busy with gears or making $$$ ?![]()
Don't worry Paul, cables is cables!
Sent from my mobile.
