To be honest with you. Your CJ gears + Strads will be amazing BUT if you get the Tenor + Strads will be better match than my speakers also when you get the Tenor as I mentioned you will not miss anything in terms of SS and Tube. I was little sad about MC601's but not anymore

You've been known me more than 2 years and did you ever see me going crazy about the amplifier before ????
This amp is that good. I never excited about the amplifier as this much ever.
You got a hear it yourself in your home....seat tight and relax.
I will say one more time though...The amp has to seat in the same spot more than 24 hours.

so what now Paul? your giving back the tenor, do you still have the allnics? or just the 275's im just curious about which way you think you will go? the tenor is obviously a major investment. one i could never make. or do you have any others in mind to try next. having the 275's there is awesome , so you can run amps in and out until you decide what to do. definitely a nice luxury. any thoughts??

That can be a very risky proposition. I recall an old joke - "What's the quickest way to end up with a million dollars? Start an audio dealership with two million!" With the price of today's high end equipment, I think the millions referred to would actually have to multiplied at least a few times to be realistic.

The Tenor is not about sweetness, authority, or transparency. It's about being so excited to put on another piece of music. It is the kind of product that makes you love listening to your system. I had a friend over the other day and he said "this amp is gonna give you a pot belly cause you can't get your ass off the couch once you start listening to it"
