Paul more thoughts on the Tenor when you have more time with it. What is the sound like, more opposed to tube or ss?

Kev. I have one more day to listen this wonderful Tenor amp and will update with more impression. However so far this is absolutely the BEST amp I ever had or heard . Do they sound like the Tube or SS ?

It's like equipped with The Sweet Tube horsepower with lot of SS torque power underneath. It has a super balance and with a excellent sweetness. I just never had this experience before. On my first day was little shy/struggling but after settled in my system it just sing beautifully. Super build quality an built like a tank. The sound ? Man I don't know what I'm gonna do without this amp.

It's a king of the both world. Am I going to purchase it ? Yes without thinking twice. Just wait for another vacation bonus and retirement bonus. :).

I'm glad you are having fun with the Tenor Paul, it's pretty special eh.

Why all the Magico owners are not talking about Tenor is beyond me. I can imagine the two being an incredible combo, I will know soon enough. S1 and Q3's will be here in about 10 days, with more coming a month later.

if he is worried about things being a bit too warm on the allnics for classical then id say go cadenza black but bronze is an awesome choice for anything really.

after being there to see it for myself i now understand why its still in the box. hes just got too much stuff in his room. and nowhere to put it for any sort of easy access. since i saw it for myself i decided to stop harassing him about a rack or the turntable. :)

I've been told the pre is more $$ than power amp.
