A Hearty Hello from Lake Tahoe, California

Hello, all,

I've been lurking for the past several weeks and decided it was time to say, "hello." For me, it's all about hanging out in a place that is friendly above all else. I get that feeling here. Of course, listening to music plays a big role in my life and I am excited to learn more from all of you and maybe contribute a few things along the way too.

In addition to the title of "Audiophile", I am also a cyclist who is commonly knows as a "weightweenie." I spend a fair amount of time riding and working on high-end, lightweight bicycles.

I've got the best job in the world...I am an elementary school principal at a small rural school in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Lake Tahoe. I have two kids who attend my school and a beautiful wife who is a second grade teacher in our neighboring district.

My system is listed in the signature below, which I will talk more about later. Nice meeting you all!

I have magic memories of the time I spent at Lake Tahoe with my father. So beautiful area.
I love bicycling too but not at your level and my favorite all time cyclist is Greg Lemond.
I have enjoyed McIntosh and PMC for 2 years. You have a wonderful system.

Actually, this Frame comes from a lesser known frame builder from the U.S. It's a Ruegamer Uberlight. Fully equipped with all the boutique stuff....AX Lightness, THM Clavicula, Campagnolo Super Record, etc. 9.6 lbs as seen here.

Thanks for sharing your bike info. 9.6 lbs? That's amazing! What's the size of your frame?
