A Hearty Hello from Lake Tahoe, California

Thanks for sharing your bike info. 9.6 lbs? That's amazing! What's the size of your frame?

The top tube is 55cm....I've since moved on to a Litespeed Ghisallo w Lightweight Standard C wheels as my daily driver. Weather is supposed to be in mid 60s again today....gonna get out for a couple hours for sure. Do you ride?

I do ride. I've been mountain biking for some 25 years and have in the past few years gotten into more road riding. I bought a Cannondale 'cross bike about four years ago and raced in our local CX series for a few years but other than that I don't compete. I use my 'cross bike for all roads duties right now since my rides consist of pavement and gravel roads. I hope to add a dedicated road bike in the future though.

Actually, this Frame comes from a lesser known frame builder from the U.S.
It's a Ruegamer Uberlight. Fully equipped with all the boutique stuff....
....AX Lightness, THM Clavicula, Campagnolo Super Record, etc. 9.6 lbs as seen here.

Thanks for all the "welcomes"! Looking forward to spending time here!

Brent, with only one more post you can attach a picture of your bike so we can see a larger picture. :)
- Less than ten pounds, amazing!

And at it's lightest with carbon chainrings and event-only wheelset....

Welcome Brent! :hi: It's hard to make out your ride in your avatar. Pinarello maybe?

Holy craps 9.6 lbs...... that's fully dressed up right? My target is to get my main ride under 16 lbs, CX bike under 20 lbs. No target for the TT though.

I have to ask, you race it?

Very nice ride and welcome aboard

Yes clavicule, hopefully not as fragile as the real thing. Would not want to see it break with 1500 watts on it. .......ouch ;)

Yep, fully dressed with pedals, bar tape, single water bottle cage, and air in the tires. I've raced this one in a couple uphill time trials, but I don't race a whole lot any more. Crits have taken over and it's not really my thing. I just love to ride! I've got some of the best roads in the world right out my back door....I just got back from a 2 hour ride with 2500 feet of elevation gain....might have seen 12 cars total.

And now I get to listen to a world class sound system as a way to wrap up the weekend. Life is good!

Lucky you! Other than the music our lives could not be any different. Been riding indoor's exclusively since late November due to snow and cold spells. Haven't ridden for two weeks at all due to pneumonia.... Sucking badly right now can't wait to get better. First race is scheduled for April 5th,Tour of the Battenkill (weather permitting of course) really not sure I'll be ready, will see.

I hate crits too BTW!

Sorry to hear about the pneumonia! The weather in California has been over-the-top good for riding this winter. I live at 4500 feet elevation and rode to over 6000 feet today in shorts and a short sleeved jersey....perfect for climbing and didn't get cold coming down. There is always good weather right around the corner when living in California, but this year has been ridiculous....it's getting a little scary how little snow pack there is....but why not enjoy it, right?

Get well soon!
